Cathy Stewart CPA, Consultant
Catharine Stewart retired from full-time accounting in June 2012.
A native of Danville, Illinois, Cathy received a Bachelor of Arts from Purdue University in 1971 and a Master of Arts from Ball State University in accounting in 1978. She was a high school English teacher for 5 years before entering public accounting in 1976. She joined Estep-Doctor & Company in 1990.

Professionally, Cathy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society. She is serving on the Indiana CPA Society Ethics Committee. Catharine received the Distinguished Service Award from the Indiana CPA Society in 2015.

Past board service includes the Indiana CPA Society, the Indiana CPA Society Educational Foundation, Indiana CPA Society Leadership Cabinet, Delaware Chamber of Commerce, United Way of Delaware County, Muncie Boys and Girls Club, United Cerebral Palsy of Delaware County, the Altrusa Club of Muncie, the Muncie Altrusa Foundation and the Delaware County Civic Center Authority.

Catharine is currently serving as a board member of the Muncie-Delaware County Community Foundation. She is a member of the Altrusa Club of Muncie and PEO Sisterhood.

Cathy and her husband, Dan, reside on the family farm in Yorktown where they enjoy part-time farming. When relaxing, she enjoys reading, quilting, spending time with her children and grandchildren and vacationing at their cottage in northern Michigan.
