Brett Spangler joined Estep-Doctor & Company in 2023. He specializes in the areas of small and medium-sized business startups and consulting, corporate tax, higher-income individual tax planning and compliance, business tax planning and preparation, and financial planning.

A native of Madison County, Brett is a graduate of Anderson University where he received a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Master's degree in Accountancy, and a Master's degree in Business Administration. He has been a certified public accountant since 2004. Brett is also a veteran with five years of military service.

Brett's career began in Indianapolis, Indiana, in 2001 where he was employed by a local CPA firm which later became a large regional CPA firm. He returned to Anderson in 2017 and founded Innovative Small Business Solutions. That firm merged with Estep-Doctor & Company in 2023.

​

Brett has served as the Treasurer of United Way of Madison County, Treasurer of Heart of Indiana United Way, Treasurer of the Anderson Symphony Orchestra, and has assisted boards of several other local nonprofit agencies.

​

Brett and his wife, Mindy, live in Anderson. They have two grown children and one granddaughter. In his spare time, he enjoys relaxing and spending time with family and friends. Other interests include traveling, sports, golf and fishing.
